Kickstarter Update: Almost there, folks!

Pardon my sick person face in the following video (and the poor editing, and the weird sound), but I just had to share the latest in Kickstarter news!  We’re getting so close I can almost taste the victory, folks!

Thank you SOOOOO very much for all your support thus far! Looks like this is really happening, folks! Can’t wait! Don’t forget that there are still four days left to share the project, and even if you pledge after the goal has been reached, you’ve essentially pre-ordered your book and secured free shipping. And cookies. ; )

Be sure to stay tuned… I’ve got some fabulous springtime desserts waiting in the wings, so check back in later this week for some delicious inspiration!

To go directly to the PGEW Book Kickstarter page and pledge to be a backer, click here. $25 or more will get you a signed copy of the book, and certain higher tiers will allow you to pre-order a book and get great goodies! Like free shipping. And cookies! (Cookies are always a good thing…)

UPDATE (5/8/12): Sometime during the night, we reached the 100% mark and then some! I’m beyond ecstatic right now, and happy to report we’re up to 102% funding and just $55 away from $10K!!!

Remember, there are still FOUR MORE DAYS left in the campaign, and you can still pledge your support until 7:24pm, PDT on Saturday, May 12th. So if you haven’t had the chance to pledge yet, or if you’ve been thinking about it but keep forgetting to do so, be sure to get those pledges in soon! You’ll snag special perks like signed copies, free shipping, homemade cookies, and much more, so don’t wait too long!

I foresee a baking marathon in the near future for you. I suggest inviting friends over to help you with the hundreds of double chocolate chunk cookies that you’ll be packing up and sending out.

I’ve enjoyed your blog and recipes for some time now. I’m glad we were able to donate and help make your book a reality!

Congrats Kimberly! I pledged! I’m local and we’ve met before at events, so please let me know if you need help making cookies!!! Perhaps we all make doughs and bake remotely and bring the finished product to your place for packing and sending out???? Just a thought….or perhaps we can “borrow” a commercial kitchen for a day??? That would be fun!!! :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You are living your dream! :-)

Congratulations on getting funded! As a fellow foodie and dreamer, I understand your drive. I am about to launch my own kickstarter campaign tomorrow and this just gave me an insane amount of hope! BTW…I just saw your blog and it’s amazing!
